Piper Jaffray's Jeff Klinefelter boosted his price target on shares of Crocs (Nasdaq: CROX) by more than 28 percent from $28 to $36 Friday morning. The analyst maintains an Overweight rating.

Traders are buying the stock, possibly on the back of the sharply revised price target. The stock last traded at $28.15, up 4.6 percent from Thursday's closing price.

Piper Jaffray's new price target suggests potential upside of about 28 percent.

The new target comes ahead of Crocs' second-quarter earnings report, expected out on Wednesday, July 27th. The Street is currently looking for quarterly EPS of 43 cents on sales of $281.6 million.
