Coinstar (Nasdaq: CSTR) announced a leadership transition for the company's redbox business.
Mitch Lowe has resigned as president of redbox to pursue entrepreneurial and other interests, and will continue to serve as president until a successor is named. Coinstar has commenced an external search to identify a new president of redbox.
Sees Q2 reves of $434-$436 million, versus the consensus of $445.94 million. Sees GAAP EPS of $0.96-$1.00, versus the consensus of $0.81.
For the year the company sees revenue between $1.760 billion and $1.850 billion, versus the consensus of $1.81 billion. Sees GAAP EPS of $2.90-$3.15, versus the consensus of $3.02.
Also announces $250 million buyback plan.
