SFN Group, Inc. (NYSE: SFN) 51.0% HIGHER; has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Randstad Holding nv for $14.00 per common share through a cash tender offer, which values the Company's equity at approximately $770 million.
ParkerVision, Inc. (Nasdaq: PRKR) 48.3% HIGHER; last night announced it has commenced federal litigation against Qualcomm Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM) alleging that the San Diego-based company infringes seven ParkerVision patents.
Travelzoo Inc. (Nasdaq: TZOO) 32.8% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.30, 8 cents worse than the analyst estimate of $0.38. Revenue for the quarter came in at $37.57 million versus the consensus estimate of $39.85 million. Travelzoo had a total unduplicated number of newsletter subscribers in North America and Europe of 20.7 million as of June 30, 2011, up 13 percent from June 30, 2010, and up 4 percent from March 31, 2011.
NetSol Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: NTWK) 31.4% LOWER; issued the following preliminary outlook. Sees FY11 revs of $35 - $36 million, and EPS of 11 - 13 cents. This is down from revs of $40 - $44 and EPS of 18 - 23 cents expected earlier. The Street is looking for revs of $41.7 million and EPS of 18 cents.
SmartHeat Inc. (Nasdaq: HEAT) 29.5% HIGHER; making a sharp move higher just before 11am ET today, on increased volume. For the last several trading sessions, the stock's price has been vacillating around the 200-day moving average. Today shares seem to have broken away from it.
eMagin Corp. (AMEX: EMAN) 24.9% LOWER; lowered it's revenue outlook for Q211. Sees revs of about $7.4 million. Also, "due to the lower than planned production output coupled with the delay into 2012 of two military programs totaling approximately $6 million in revenue, eMagin is now projecting revenue between $29 million and $33.0 million for fiscal 2011."
Meridian Bioscience, Inc. (NASDAQ: VIVO) 18.9% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.17, $0.04 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.21. Revenue for the quarter came in at $40.05 million versus the consensus estimate of $43.13 million. Sees FY2011 EPS of $0.68-$0.71, versus prior guidance of $0.77-$0.82 and the consensus of $0.79.
Saba Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: SABA) 18.2% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of ($0.10), 13 cents worse than the analyst estimate of $0.03. Revenue for the quarter came in at $30 million versus the consensus estimate of $30.76 million. Saba sees a FY12 loss range of (17) to (23) cents per share, versus the consensus of a 6 cent loss. Saba also sees FY12 revenue of $130 to $133 million, versus the consensus of $127.61 million. The stock was downgraded at Benchmark and Craig-Hallum this morning.
Robert Half International (NYSE: RHI) 16% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.25, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.22. Revenue for the quarter came in at $938 million versus the consensus estimate of $906.85 million. Sees Q3 EPS of 24-29c, vs. cons of 26c. Sees sales of $940-$990 million, which compares to the Street estimate of $939.75 million.
Medco Health Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: MHS) 15.7% HIGHER; Express Scripts, Inc. (Nasdaq: ESRX) and Medco today announced that they have entered into a definitive merger agreement. Under the agreement, Medco shareholders will receive $71.36 per share in cash and stock, or $29.1 billion.
Datalink Corp (Nasdaq: DTLK) 15.3% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.19, 8 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.11. Revenue for the quarter came in at $89.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $82.73 million. Datalink sees Q2 2011 EPS of 15 to 19 cents, versus the consensus of 12 cents. Also sees Q2 2011 revenue of $85 to $90 million, versus the consensus of $91.2 million.
