Goldman Sachs raised its price target on American Express (NYSE: AXP) from $59.00 to $60.00 following better-than-expected results after the close driven by strong 12% revenue growth, billed business growth and continued credit improvement.
The firm reiterated their Buy rating, saying the market is under-appreciating the top-line growth potential as well as the expense and capital leverage.
2012/2013 EPS estimates were tweaked to $4.40/$4.80 from $4.38/$4.77.
