Frequency Electronics Inc. (NASDAQ: FEIM) 17% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.55, versus $0.02 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $15.9 million, versus $13.1 million reported last year.
Pervasive Software Inc. (NASDAQ: PVSW) 9.5% HIGHER; today announced that financial results for the fourth quarter ending June 30, 2011 are expected to exceed the company's financial guidance previously provided on April 19, 2011. The company now expects total revenue for the fourth quarter to be in the range of $13.5 million to $13.7 million and GAAP-basis diluted earnings per share of $0.06 to $0.07. Guidance for the fourth quarter given in the company's April 19, 2011 press release was for revenue in the range of $11.2 million to $12.2 million and GAAP-basis diluted earnings per share of $0.01 to $0.04. Revenue and GAAP-basis diluted earnings per share for the June quarter of last fiscal year were $11.7 million and $0.05.
Marriott (NYSE: MAR) 4.2% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.37, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.37. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.02 billion. Sees Q3 EPS of 25-29 cents, which compares to the Street estimate of 30 cents. Sees FY11 EPS of $1.35-$1.43, vs. the consensus of $1.41.
