Dahlman Rose initiates coverage on shares of Whole Foods Market (NASDAQ: WFM) with a Hold rating.

The firm notes that since the stock is currently trading at over 30x its 2011 EPS of $1.92 and its 2012 estimate of $2.15, it feels that the market has priced in its long term growth story.

The recession caused WFM to place its focus back on the company's core appeal, which has been solidly working for them since then.

The company looks to open a lot more stores in the U.S. given its long term outlook on the market. The believes that Canada and the U.K. may also be attractive markets given that it already has fledgling operations there.
