Cummins, Inc. (CMI) Raises Quarterly Dividend 52.4% to $0.40; 1.5% Yield

Cummins, Inc. (NYSE: CMI) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.40 per share, or $1.6 annualized. This is a 52.4% increase from the prior dividend of $0.2625.

The dividend will be payable on September 1, 2011, to stockholders of record on August 22, 2011, with an ex-dividend date of August 18, 2011.

The annual yield on the dividend is 1.5 percent.
