Morning Movers 07/06: (PMI) (HTCH) (SYMX) (KCI) Higher; (DRWI) (ZAGG) Lower

PMI Group (NYSE: PMI) 19% HIGHER; late last night Standard & Poor's affirmed the company's B- ratings and removed from its Watch list.

Hutchinson Technology Incorporated (Nasdaq: HTCH) 16.3% HIGHER; reports the following preliminary Q3 results. Sees revs of $72 million, versus consensus views calling for $65.52 million. Shipments increased 15 percent sequentially to 118 million suspension assemblies.

Synthesis Energy (Nasdaq: SYMX) 14.4% HIGHER; seems to be breaking back above the $2 level this morning after dipping below this level earlier last month. The stock has already traded nearly 186,000 shares, compared to average full-day volume of about 240,000 shares.

DragonWave (Nasdaq: DRWI) 10.4% LOWER; the company's VP of worldwide sales announced his resignation this morning.

Kinetic Concepts (NYSE: KCI) 10.2% HIGHER; hearing the company is in talks for a private-equity buyout.

Mecox Lane (Nasdaq: MCOX) 10% HIGHER; Chinese e commerce sites are catching a bid today.

E Commerce China Dangdang (NYSE: DANG) 9.5% HIGHER; over the $13 level today. The stock nearly pushed under $10 last week. About 6.2 million shares have already traded, which compares to the stock's average daily volume of 4.13 million.

Zagg (Nasdaq: ZAGG) 7.8% LOWER; falling today amid a negative blog post from Roddy Boyd's Financial Investigation site.

Radian Group (NYSE: RDN) 7.5% HIGHER; see PMI.
