Wedbush maintains an 'Outperform' on Smith & Wesson Holding (NASDAQ: SWHC), PT $5.00.
Wedbush analyst says, "Q4 firearms sales growth of 13%, partially offset by a 26% decline in the smaller security business, drove revenues of $112 million versus our $111 million estimate. Double-digit firearms growth was driven by new product introductions, such as the Bodyguard line of pistols, repositioned polymer framed pistols, and tactical rifles. Improved gross margins were offset by increased SG&A expense, resulting in adjusted EPS coming in line with our forecast of $0.06."
"Revising estimates to reflect surging firearms demand and margin pressure.
We are raising our 2012 revenue estimate to $425 million from $421 million and lowering our EPS estimate to $0.27 from $0.37."
