KKR Corporation (NYSE: KKR) and Silver Lake Partners are currently in talks to acquire Go Daddy Group Inc. for around $2.0-$2.5 billion. The announcement of the sale may come as soon as next week, although nothing has been signed or agreed upon yet, sources said.
The WSJ reported in September of 2010 Go Daddy appointed a boutique investment bank, Qatalyst Partners, too find the most suitable buyer for the company. Founder Bob Parsons will continue to serve as CEO of the company following the acquisition.
