Revenue for the quarter came in at $236.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $242.95 million. Finisar Corp sees Q1 2012 EPS of $0.17-$0.21, versus the consensus of $0.37. Finisar Corp sees Q1 2012 revenue of $215-$230 million, versus the consensus of $253 million.

(NYSE: PSS) 3.1% LOWER; reports that the Board of Directors and Matthew Rubel agreed that Mr. Rubel would resign as director, Chairman of the Board and an officer of the Company, effective immediately. Michael J. Massey has been named the interim Chief Executive Officer and D. Scott Olivet has been named the Company's Non-Executive Chairman.
Rubicon Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: RBCN) 3% HIGHER; today reaffirmed its previously issued second quarter 2011 revenue and earnings guidance and clarified its projected tax rate for the second quarter and remainder of the year. The company eported that it is having another solid quarter and estimates that revenue in the second quarter should come in at the high end of the $40 million and $43 million range. The Company's second quarter EPS guidance of $0.82 to $0.86 assumed a diluted share count of 24 million shares and a tax rate of 7 percent. RBCN also confirmed that the projected effective tax rate for 2012 remains at 30 to 35 percent. Factoring in the higher tax rate adjusts previously issued EPS guidance to between $0.53 and $0.55.
