XLF Turns Red as Moody's Warns of Possible Downgrade on BofA (BAC), Citi (C), Wells Fargo (WFC)
Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (NYSE: XLF), commonly referred to as just "the XLF," has fallen into negative territory in morning trade following a headline out of Moody's the ratings agency is considering downgrades of Bank of America (NYSE: BAC), Citi (NYSE: C) and Wells Fargo (NYSE: WFC). After trading in positive territory since the market open, the fund is now down 0.4 percent.
BofA, Citi and Wells Fargo shares have also fallen into the red. BofA is now down 0.4 percent to $11.20, Citi shares are down 1 percent to $39.25, and Wells Fargo shares are down 1 percent to $26.66.
