Sify Technologies Limited (Nasdaq: SIFY) 35.4% HIGHER; announces a partnership with Deutsche Telekom International Carrier Sales & Solutions which "will provide customers and partners with top-of-the-line IP and VPN services in India and Europe, by leveraging on each others investments in Submarine, Terrestrial Networks and local network reach as well as regional partnership to reach new growth markets in South Asian, Middle East & Africa markets."

FPIC Insurance Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: FPIC) 28.9% HIGHER; reports that it will be acquired by The Doctors Company for $42 per share in cash, or total consideration of $362 million. Closing is expected in Q411.

LML Payment Systems (Nasdaq: LMLP) 25.6% HIGHER; finally bouncing today following a 64% decline since early March. The stock has traded about 460,000 shares today, compared to the average daily volume of just 199,000 shares.

Sequans (Nasdaq: SQNS) 22.3% HIGHER; continuing higher today following a Jim Cramer tout yesterday and the resulting 28.6% rise in the stock.

PHC, Inc., d/b/a Pioneer Behavioral Health (AMEX: PHC) 18.7% HIGHER; and Acadia Healthcare Company, Inc. today announced the signing of a definitive merger agreement. Upon the completion of the merger, Acadia stockholders will own approximately 77.5% of the combined company, and PHC stockholders will own approximately 22.5% of the combined company.

DSW Inc. (NYSE: DSW) 16.3% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.87, 12 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.75. Revenue for the quarter came in at $503.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $486.54 million. DSW Inc. sees FY2011 EPS of $2.65-$2.80, versus prior guidance of $2.60-$2.75 and the consensus of $2.71.

Kingold Jewelry (Nasdaq: KGJI) 14.9% LOWER shares began falling just after noon but seem to have caught some support around $1.60.

Identive Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: INVE) 14.3% LOWER; priced a 7,843,137 common stock offering a $2.55 per share. The price is a 13.3 percent discount to yesterdays closing of $2.94.

China-Biotics, Inc. (Nasdaq: CHBT) 13.5% LOWER; lower today as Value Assets' Richard Azar disclosed increasing his stake in the company by 90 percent to 3,414,846, or 15 percent of all outstanding.

Opnext (Nasdaq: OPXT) 11.2% LOWER; shares are correcting today following 5 straight sessions of upside. Over this span, the stock gained more than 54%. Shares seem to be holding the $2.50 level.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc,. (Nasdaq: CBRL) 9.2% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.58, 8 cents worse than the analyst estimate of $0.66. Revenue for the quarter came in at $582.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $594.45 million. Comparable store restaurant sales for the quarter decreased 0.3%. Sees FY2011 EPS of $3.80 - $3.90, versus the consensus of $4.09. The Company presently expects fourth quarter fiscal 2011 total revenue to increase approximately 1.0 to 2.5 percent over revenue in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2010.
