International Business Machines (NYSE: IBM) is inching even closer to overtaking Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) in market cap.
As reported on May 16th, IBM had a market cap of $206.32 billion, whereas Microsoft stood at $209.64 billion.
The gap is closing.
With a closing price of $168.26 on Monday, and 1.21 billion shares outstanding, IBM's cap is about $203.59 billion. Meanwhile, Microsoft closed at $24.17, putting its market value at $203.75 billion.
