Vulcan Materials (VMC) Declares $0.25 Quarterly Dividend; 2.5% Yield

Vulcan Materials Company (NYSE: VMC) at a regular meeting held today declared a quarterly dividend of $0.25 per common share, $1.00 annualized.

The dividend is payable June 10, 2011, to shareholders of record May 27, 2011, with an ex-dividend date of May 25, 2011.

Yield on the dividend is 2.5 percent.
