Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) reported Q2 EPS of $0.74, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $0.65. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.68 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.6 billion.

Sees Q3 2011 EPS of $0.71-$0.73, versus the consensus of $0.66. Sees Q3 2011 revenue of $1.64-$1.66 billion, versus the consensus of $1.59 billion.

Raises its FY2011 EPS guidance from abtou $2.58 to $2.84-$2.88, versus the consensus of $2.64. Raises sales from $6.35 billion to $6.55-$6.60 billion, versus the consensus of $6.42 billion.
