Nomura Securities maintains a 'Buy' on Yingli Green Energy (NYSE: YGE).
Nomura analyst, Nitin Kumar, said, "1Q11F shipment disappointments continue, with Yingli lowering its 1Q11F shipments and margin forecasts amid a weak demand environment in Italy. While we see near-term utilization and ASP dynamics constrained given channel inventory build, we believe finalization of policy from Italy has lowered market uncertainty and see a resumption of demand as likely from end May to early-June. 2Q11F volume risks look to be higher than forecast, but we retain a Buy recommendation on the structural long-term positioning of the company."
