- FirstEnergy Corp. (NYSE: FE) high of $43.36. FirstEnergy is getting a boost from Wells Fargo, which upgraded the shares from Market Perform to Outperform, increasing its valuation range from $41 - $42 to $47 - $48. Shares have been strong since reporting first-quarter earnings on May 2nd, and guiding above the Street for FY11.
- Celanese Corporation (NYSE: CE) high of $52.92. Celanese boosted its outlook for FY13 EPS of at least $6.00, compared with the analyst consensus of $4.28 in FY11 and $4.88 in FY12, suggesting a growth rate of 18 percent annually over the next two years.
- Fossil, Inc. (Nasdaq: FOSL) high of $107.25. Fossil shares are killing it today, following solid first-quarter metrics and outlook for Q211 and FY11. Fossil had EPS of $0.86 on revs of $537 million, compared to consensus EPS of $0.66 and revs of $511.96 million. Shares are up over 14 percent on the day. Notably, Fossil has crawled its way back from lows near $33 over the last year, climbing 225 percent to the new high today. Additionally, Fossil is experiencing a new all-time high share price each time it reaches a new annual high.
- ServiceSource International, Inc. (Nasdaq: SREV) high of $17.87. Surprisingly, ServiceSource is ripping today following an earnings report from the Company. ServiceSource reported first-quarter non-GAAP EPS of $0.01, versus the analyst estimate of $0.03. Revenue for the quarter came in at $46.1 million, versus the consensus estimate of $41.40 million. Looking ahead, ServiceSource sees second-quarter revs of $44 - $46 million, versus consensus revs of $46.50 million. Additionally, FY11 outlook calls for revs of $184 - $186 million and EPS of $0.03 - $0.05, versus consensus revs of $197.40 million and EPS of $0.20.
- SmartHeat Inc. (Nasdaq: HEAT) low of $2.23. SmartHeat shares are plummeting today after reporting a first-quarter loss of $0.05 per share on revs of $7.89 million, versus consensus EPS of $0.05 and revs of $11.35 million. SmartHeat also lowered its FY11 EPS outlook to a range of $0.25 - $0.36 and revs of $63 - $93 million, absolutely missing the consensus EPS of $0.71 and revs of $146.39 million. Shares moved nearly 30 percent to the new low today.
- Energy Conversion Devices, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENER) low of $1.55. Energy Conversion Devices shares are seeing some selling pressure today following its first-quarter earnings report. Energy Conversion Devices had an adjusted loss of $0.41 on revs of $21.5 million, mixed to the consensus calling for a loss of $0.48 per share coupled with revs of $35.17 million.
- Nanosphere, Inc. (Nasdaq: NSPH) low of $2.10. Nanosphere priced a 13.64 million common stock offering at $2.20 per share, which was a 25 percent discount to yesterday's closing price of $2.93. Shares are trading accordingly.
- USANA Health Sciences Inc. (Nasdaq: USNA) low of $30.60. A number of top USANA executives (Fred W. Cooper, President and Chief Operating Officer; Jeffrey A. Yates, Chief Financial Officer; and Mark H. Wilson, Executive Vice President of Sales) have resigned their positions within the Company. USANA "also announced that it has realigned its executive team and appointed Kevin G. Guest as President of North America, Deborah Woo as President of Asia Pacific, G. Douglas Hekking as Chief Financial Officer, and Roy W. Truett as Chief Operating Officer." Shares are 18.9 percent lower on the day.
