Barclays maintains an 'Overweight' on TreeHouse Foods (NYSE: THS), raises PT from $53 to $58.

Barclays analyst says, "The entirety of the shortfall, however, came as a result of higher YOY freight costs and incremental IT implementation expenses. Separate from the EPS miss, management cut its full-year guidance by $0.10 (now forecasting a range of $3.00-$3.08, from $3.10-$3.18 previously) due to an accelerated timeframe around the Sturm Foods and S.T. Specialty Foods integrations."

"With THS shares relatively resilient and still trading at a +15% premium vs. peers despite the negative revision, we're harder pressed to see substantial upside in the near-term absent an acquisition, which is admittedly possible. On that note, we believe that THS continues to be actively pursuing acquisitions; plus, we wonder if a RAH-CAG tie up could actually advantage THS as an acquirer in the near term as presumably CAG would have to delever first before continuing on RAH's consolidation track, thus endowing THS with greater choice among private labelassets."
