Silver Taking Back Last Week's Loses, Closes Up 5% (SLV)

Following last week's massive sell-off, silver is up very sharply Monday. The commodity just closed trading on COMEX up almost $1.83 to $37.116 per ounce.
The move marks silver's largest single-day gain since November 18 of 2010.
The iShares Silver ETF (NYSE: SLV) is up more than 6 percent this afternoon.
Silver tumbled by more than 27 percent last week.
Gold, which also fell throughout last week's session, is up about $15 to $1,507.20 per ounce. The commodity hit an intraday high of $1,512 per ounce. The SPDR Gold Trust ETF (NYSE: GLD) is up 1.2 percent to $!47.07.
