Canaccord Genuity reiterates a 'Buy' on Vale S.A. (NYSE: VALE), PT lowered by $1 to $43.
Canaccord analyst says, "Vale reported Q1/11 diluted EPS of US$1.29. We calculate adjusted EPS of US$1.01, below our estimate of US$1.04 and Thomson First Call consensus of US$1.11."
"Our new EPS estimates for 2011 and 2012 are $5.34 and $5.03, down 1% and 8% from our prior estimates of $5.37 and $5.46. Our new EBITDA forecasts for 2011 and 2012 are US$40.8 billion and US$39.3 billion, almost unchanged and down 5% from our prior estimates of $40.7 billion and $41.6 billion."
