Auxilium Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: AUXL) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.25), $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.24). Revenue for the quarter came in at $58.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $61.13 million.
As a result of the $30 million in regulatory milestones received from Pfizer and the $15 million in milestones received from Asahi Kasei Pharma, the Company is increasing FY11 XIAFLEX contract and ex-U.S. revenues from the previously stated guidance of a range of $5 to $7 million to a range of $9 to $11 million.
