Barclays maintains an 'Overweight' on Agilent (NYSE: A), PT $54.
Barclays analyst says, "We will be hosting a conference call on June 3rd with CFO Didier Hirsch and Nick Roelofs, Ph.D., President of Agilent's Life Sciences Group (LSG). Though LSG today accounts for just ~20% of Agilent's sales, it is a major area of investment for the company. LSG represents Agilent's most under-penetrated, yet largest and fastest growing market opportunity."
"Agilent, along with Waters (NYSE: WAT), has been our top Tools pick this year. Agilent has plenty of room to run, in our opinion, with above-peer revenue & earnings growth (with Agilent's recently updated operating model) and a strong financial position justifying the premium multiple. Manufacturing leadership & a strong China footprint will be a differentiator, with additional upside from the Varian deal."
