FBR Capital reiterates an 'Outperform' on Cerner (NASDAQ: CERN), PT raised $10 to $131.
FBR analyst says, "Cerner remains one of the most attractive healthcare IT companies due to its: (1) strong market positioning in the large hospital marketplace, (2) growing presence in community and critical access hospitals, and (3) improving momentum in the ambulatory market. The company has seen some improvement from the global market, and management expects to see more traction over the course of 2011. We view the company as well positioned for continued stimulus-related demand for clinical systems and the longer-term push for revenue cycle and other financial/administrative systems."
"We are raising our 2011 EPS estimate by $0.04 to $3.63, a penny above the company’s guided range and representing 23% YOY growth. The majority of the increase is due to the $0.03 EPS beat experienced in the quarter. For 2012, we are increasing our EPS estimate by $0.06 to $4.36, representing 20% YOY growth."
