Patterson-UTI Energy Inc. (PTEN) Tops Q1 EPS by 3c; Declares $0.05 Qtr. Dividend

Patterson-UTI Energy Inc. (NASDAQ: PTEN) reported Q1 EPS of $0.46, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.43. Revenue for the quarter came in at $567 million versus the consensus estimate of $551.45 million.

The Company declared a quarterly cash dividend on its common stock of $0.05 per share, to be paid on June 30, 2011 to holders of record as of June 15, 2011, with an ex-dividend date of June 13, 2011.

Yield on the dividend is 0.7 percent.
