Shares of Total System Services (NYSE: TSS) have plunged in mid-day trade following an intraday downgrade from an analyst at Credit Agricole. TSS shares are now down 3.7 percent to $18.39.

Credit Agricole now rates Total System Services a Sell, down from Underperform previously. The firm reduced its price target on the stock from $18 to $16.

The downgrade follows inline Q1 results from Total System Services Tuesday night.

Credit Agricole's new price target implies potential downside of about 13 percent from where the stock is trading Wednesday.
