Sonic Automotive Inc. (SAH) Tops Q1 EPS by 2c; Declares $0.025 Quarterly Dividend; 0.7% Yield

Sonic Automotive Inc. (NYSE: SAH) reported Q1 EPS of $0.27, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.25. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.84 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.81 billion.

Sonic also declared a quarterly dividend of $0.025 per common share, $0.10 annualized.

The dividend is payable July 15, 2011, to shareholders of record on June 15, 2011, with an ex-dividend date of June 13, 2011.

Yield on the dividend is 0.7 percent.
