Health Management Associates Inc. (NYSE: HMA) reported Q1 EPS of $0.22, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.21. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.43 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.46 billion.
Increases FY2011 EPS from $0.72 - $0.76 to $0.74-$0.78, versus the consensus of $0.75.
