Canaccord Genuity maintains a 'Hold' on Pentair (NYSE: PNR), PT $42.
Canaccord analyst says, "While near-term cost headwinds remain, our longer-term outlook stays positive. We continue to like management’s focus on international expansion and technology-focused growth, while recent M&A (CPT) looks nice. We maintain our rating, as risk/reward appears appropriately balanced, in our view. Pentair will report Q1/11 results before the open on April 26."
"We expect Pentair to report Q1/11 revenue/EPS of $760M/$0.44 vs. consensus at $758.2M/$0.44. Guidance is $750-760M/$0.42-0.45...We look for additional financial details on the pending purchase of Norit’s CPT business (anticipated close mid-Q2), while expecting recent investments to help drive growth in both Water and Technical Products (particularly in emerging economies)."
