Shares of Amarin (Nasdaq: AMRN) are giving back gains Monday following a nearly 95 percent surge last week amid strong trial results of its lead product candidate, AMR101.
Additionally, shares have also been seeing increased interest following rumors from the Sunday Times the company could be considering a sale. The stock was up more than 5 percent in pre-market trade Monday, however is now down about 2.5 percent to $16.48.
Late Thursday, analysts at Wedbush boosted the firm's price target on Amarin shares from $12 to $18 while maintaining an Outperform rating. The firm cited "overwhelmingly positive Phase III ANCHOR data..."
