Duncan Williams initiates coverage on Pernix Therapeutics (NYSE: PTX) with a Buy. PT $19.
Duncan analyst said, "Our investment thesis is fourfold: (1) We like the overall business model that exploits a niche with limited competition and includes asset diversification to minimize generic risk. (2) We think the management team is well aligned with shareholders to maximize value. (3) We assume $113.5 million in Natroba (lice treatment) royalties by 2017, and negligible contribution from Theobromine (natural cough suppressant) (4) More accretive deals are expected."
