Gold and Silver Continue To Bust Out (GLD) (GDX) (SLW)

Gold and silver continue to break out as investors run for the safety of the precious metals as currency debasement appears to be the only tool the Fed has left to help the economic recovery.
Gold is up $13.50 to $1472.80 per ounce on COMEX, while Silver is up even more on a percentage basis, last trading at up $0.893 to $40.445.
In the gold arena, Newmont Mining Corp. (NYSE: NEM) is up 0.6 percent, Barrick Gold Corporation (NYSE: ABX) up 1.8 percent and Goldcorp Inc. (NYSE: GG) up 2 percent. Gold ETF SPDR Gold Shares (NYSE: GLD) is up 0.6 percent and gold miner ETF Market Vectors Gold Miners ETF (NYSE: GDX) is 2.4 percent higher.
Silver producer Silver Wheaton Corp. (NYSE: SLW) is up 3.6 percent and Coeur d`Alene Mines Corporation (NYSE: CDE) is up 3 percent. Silver ETF iShares Silver Trust (NYSE: SLV) is 1.9 percent higher.
