UPDATE - Barclays upgraded Mellanox Technologies (NASDAQ: MLNX) from Equalweight to Overweight. PT increased from $25 to $32.
Barclays analyst says, "Based on the Barclays Capital CIO Survey, released
today, the upside opportunity at Oracle (Nasdaq: ORCL) (Overweight), and our confidence in a successful integration of Voltaire, we are raising our revenue and non-GAAP EPS estimates for 2012 and upgrading MLNX. Our revenue forecast for 2012 rises to $317m from $302m and EPS is up to $1.60 from $1.35...From a Mellanox perspective the key takeaways are that overall IT spending expectations are positive and that budgets remain flat to up from our last survey; there is upward momentum in spending plans for storage and servers, which is an improvement from our last survey; and server virtualisation, cloud computing, and green computing (saving power) are all key areas of IT manager focus."
