Soleil Securities initiates coverage on Ross Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ: ROST) with a Hold rating and $72 price target.

The firm believes that the company will continue to gain market share as trends show that consumers will continue to trade down and as new stores are opened. Ever since the the company opened its first store in 1982 it has reported solid growth in both the good times and bad.

ROST has bought back stock since 1993 and has been raising its dividend each year since 1994. The Board at Ross Stores recently approved a $900 million buyback for the next two years.
