Ambassadors International Inc. (Nasdaq: AMIE) 40.2% HIGHER; following a successful test of the $1 level (the stock had pushed below $1 on March 15), shares are continuing to rebound today. The stock jumped nearly 20% yesterday.
Oxford Industries Inc. (NYSE: OXM) 29.9% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.32, one cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.31. Revenue for the quarter came in at $157 million versus the consensus estimate of $154.84 million. Oxford sees Q111 revenue of $200 - $210 million, versus the consensus of $198 million. Also sees FY11 EPS of $1.95 - $2.05, versus the consensus of $1.90. OXM sees FY11 revenue of $725 - $740 million, versus the consensus of $704.8 million. Raises quarterly dividend 18% to 13 cents per share, 52 cents annualized.
KV Pharmaceutical Co. (NYSE: KV-A) 28.6% LOWER; FDA released a statement on Makena, stating that they won't take action on compounding pharmacies which make version of hydroxyprogesterone caproate, an active ingredient in the KV drug.
Cephalon (Nasdaq: CEPH) 28.3% HIGHER; Valeant Pharma (NYSE: VRX) proposes to buy Cephalon for $73 per share.
RXi Pharmaceuticals Corp. (Nasdaq: RXII) 26.2% HIGHER; investors checking out some Form 4 SEC filings late yesterday, several managers and executives exercised stock options.
Bovie Medical (AMEX: BVX) 26% HIGHER; could be seeing some upside following the Valeant bid for Cephalon. Shares have broken back over the $3 level today.
Acxiom Corporation (Nasdaq: ACXM) 21.8% LOWER; Chief Executive Officer and Board member John Meyer has resigned his position. Director Jerry D. Gramaglia has been appointed Interim CEO. Gramaglia has been a director of Acxiom since 2009. Sees Q4 revs of $295 - $299 million and a loss of $1.03 - $0.49 per share. Consensus sees revs of $303.23 million and EPS of $0.24. FY11 revs expected to be $1.156 - $1.160 billion and loss of $0.49 to EPS of $0.05. Consensus sees revs of $1.16 billion and EPS of $0.72.
Horizon Lines (AMEX: HRZ) 21.6% LOWER; continuing lower today as traders may be betting on a bankruptcy. The stock tumbled nearly 48% yesterday.
Universal Travel Group (NYSE: UTA) 18.7% LOWER; is delaying its year 2010 earnings conference call previously scheduled for March 30, 2011 at 09:00 a.m. EDT to a later day in 2011 to be determined. The delay is not related to any accounting irregularities.
Onstream Media Corporation (Nasdaq: ONSM) 14.4% HIGHER; announced that SmartSource, a leading provider of tradeshow equipment rentals and audio visual technology support solutions, has signed a MarketPlace365 Master Agent Agreement.
