Lawson Software (NASDAQ: LWSN) shares are moving higher in mid-day market trade Tuesday as an analyst is suggesting the company may be an M&A target for Oracle Corp. (NASDAQ: ORCL).
The rumors follow a bid on March 11 by Golden Gate Capital and privately-held enterprise software firm Infor.
Oracle could be interested in Lawson's medical records and supply chain management software, according to a report from Bloomberg.
Shares of Lawson are up 3.66 percent to $12.18 in late-morning trade Tuesday.
