JPMorgan (JPM) Boosts Qtr. Dividend from 5c to 25c/Share, Yielding 2.19%; Announces $15B Buyback

JPMorgan (NYSE: JPM) announces that its Board has authorized a 400% increase in its quarterly dividend payment, up from 5c to 25c per common share.
The dividend is payable on April 30 to shareholders of record on April 6. The ex-dividend date is April 4.
With JPM shares last trading at (the stock jumped as news of the dividend/buyback began hitting wires) $45.77, the dividend yield moves from 0.44% to 2.19%.
JPMorgan also announced the authorization of a $15 billion buyback program.
The dividend is payable on April 30 to shareholders of record on April 6. The ex-dividend date is April 4.
