CurrencyShares Japanese Yen Trust (NYSE: FXY) is recently down 2.9% to $121.51 in pre-open trading. The Group of Seven jointly intervened in the foreign exchange market for the first time in more than a decade after Japan’s currency rallied, threatening its recovery from the March 11 earthquake. Overall option implied volatility of 16 is above its six-month average of 11 according to Track Data.
