NYSE Euronext (NYX) Shares Rallying as DealReporter Says Nasdaq (NDAQ) in Talks to Finance a Bid

Shares of NYSE Euronext (NYSE: NYX) have spiked well into positive territory over the last few minutes of trading as DealReporter is suggesting that Nasdaq (Nasdaq: NDAQ) could be in talks with lenders in order to finance a bid for the NYSE.
Prior to the rumors, NYSE Euronext shares were down about 3.7%. Now, minutes after the reports began hitting wires, shares of NYX are up 4.3% to $36.46.
On the other side of the trade, shares of Nasdaq, although already trading lower for the session, are now down 4.4% to $26.01.
