Talbots (TLB) Reports Q3 Adj-EPS of 27c, Beats By a Penny; Guides Q4 Below the Street, Cuts FY10 Outlook

The Talbots, Inc. (NYSE: TLB) reports Q3 EPS of $0.27, ex-items, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.26. Revenue for the quarter came in at $299.1 million, versus the consensus estimate of $303.11 million.

Comps down 7.1%.

Sees Q4 adj-loss of 5c to EPS of 3c, vs. consensus of 14c.

Cuts its FY10 adj-EPS guidance from 84-92c to 70-78c, which compares to the Street estimate of 88c.
