Barnes & Noble (BKS) Reports Q2 Loss of 22c, Comps Down 3.3%; Guides Q3, FY11

Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE: BKS) reports Q2 loss of $0.22, vs. the analyst estimate of ($0.08). Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.91 billion, versus the consensus estimate of $1.98 billion.

Comps down 3.3%, Barnes & Noble.com comps up 59%.

Sees Q3 EPS of 90c-$1.20, vs. the consensus of $1.29. Sees comps up 5-7%.

Sees FY11 loss of 75c-$1.15, which compares to the Street estimate of (40c).
