Wal-Mart (WMT) Reports Inline Q3 Adj-EPS of 90c; Comps Ex-Fuel Down 0.7%; Raises FY11 Outlook

Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (NYSE: WMT) reports Q3 EPS of $0.90, ex-benefit, inline with the analyst estimate of $0.90. Revenue for the quarter came in at $101.2 billion, versus the consensus estimate of $102.43 billion.

Same store sales ex-fuel down 0.7%.

Has $8.5 billion remaining under current authorization.

Sees Q4 comps down 1% to up 2% for US. Sees Q4 EPS $1.29-$1.33, vs. the Street estimate of $1.28.

Raises its FY11 EPS guidance form $3.95-$4.05 to $4.08-$4.12, vs. the consensus of $4.02.
