In a Form 8-K, Casey's (Nasdaq: CASY) reported August comps for: prepared food and fountain drinks rose 3.7%, for grocery and other merchandise rose 4.4%. Same-store gasoline gallons sold rose 3.6% and gasoline margin was above the Company’s fiscal 2011 goal of 13.5 cents per gallon. The average retail price of gasoline sold during August 2010 was $2.59 per gallon.
