Dick's Sporting Goods (DKS) Tops Q2 EPS View by 2c; Comps Up 5.7%; Guides Q3, Raises FY10 Outlook

Dick's Sporting Goods, Inc. (NYSE: DKS) reports Q2 EPS of $0.43, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.41. Revenue for the quarter was $1.226 billion, which compares to the estimate of $1.22 billion.

Comps up 5.7%.

Sees Q3 adj-EPS of 15-16c, vs. cons. of 18c. Sees comps up 1-2%.

Raises FY10 adj-EPS guidance from $1.41-$1.44 to $1.46-$1.49. Sees FY10 comps up 4-5%, vs. prior estimate of up 3-4%.
