Wal-Mart (WMT) Reports Q1 EPS of 88c, Beats by 3c; Comps Down 1.1% Ex-Fuel; Guides Q2

Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT) reports Q1 EPS of $0.88, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.85. Revenue for the quarter was $99.85 billion, which compares to the estimate of $98.45 billion.

Total comps down 1.1% ex-fuel.

Sees Q2 EPS of $0.93-$0.98, versus the consensus of $0.98.
