AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), reported traffic for the month of January. The airline reported that revenue passenger miles (RPMs), available seat miles (ASMs) and enplaned passengers represent new monthly records for the month of January.
For January, traffic grew by 6.8 percent to more than 1.3 billion RPMs and the airline enplaned over 1.7 million passengers.
