Bloomberg reports today that Disney (NYSE: DIS) and Liberty Media (NASDAQ: LSTZA) are in talks today which would limit Liberty's ability to provide Netflix (NASDAQ: NFLX) with films online.
Starz, of Liberty Media, wants to sign on to Disney for another five years of being able to broadcast Disney's films on its movie channels. However, Disney wants to limit the availability of its films online to companies such as Netflix.
A spokeswoman confirmed that the companies were in talks today, but Starz declined to comment.
