Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) Gives Back Some Gains After Surging on Intel Settlement Yesterday

Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (NYSE: AMD) shares are trading lower in the morning session. Shares are down about 4% to $6.23.
AMD and Intel announced a settlement yesterday, where Intel is scheduled to pay about $1.25 billion to AMD for AMD to drop all of its pending antitrust litigation. Shares of AMD jumped up about 22% to close at $6.48 yesterday, and saw about 6.7x the usual volume. Volume is at about 12 million shares early, approximately 33% of the 3-month average.
