Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF) Reports Q2 Loss; SSS Down 30%

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (NYSE: ANF) reports a Q2 loss of $0.30 vs. consensus for $0.07 loss.
(The unaudited results also reflect a loss before income taxes of $19.8 million for the thirteen weeks ended August 1, 2009, which includes pre-tax charges of $24.4 million associated with the closure of RUEHL operations and related store asset impairment charges)
Revenues were down 23% y-o-y to $648.5 million vs. $646.46 million consensus.
Comparable store sales decreased 30%.
