Net premiums earned Dec.'08 $1,047.5 million compared to $1,044.5 million for Dec. '07.
Net income (loss) Dec.'08 $(.18) compared to $.10 for Dec. '07.
The Progressive Corporation is an insurance holding company. As of December 31, 2007, the Company owned 64 subsidiaries and had one mutual insurance company affiliate.[SM]
